Dalbir Singh asserted his supremacy, winning the title in zero to eight handicap category of the 9th McDowell Signature Club Golf Championship, which was conducted among the members of Bhubaneshwar Golf Club at BGC course in Bhubaneshwar today. Jayant Mishra and P K (Bhumi) Mohanty emerges winners in nine to 16 and 17 to 27 handicap categories respectively.
The inter-club tournament will be followed by the East Zone Regional finals on November 25 and the BGC team will compete against nine other teams for the East Zone title.
The East Zone winners will play against the South, North and West zone finalists at Chiang Mai, Thailand from December 6 to 8 for the title of the All India Club Champions.
RESULTS:
0 to 8 handicap: Winner: Dalbir Singh (25 points), Runner-up: Ranjit Singh (19 points).
9 to 16 handicap: Winner: Jayant Mishra (36 points), Runner-up: Rajib Ray (35 points).
17 to 24 handicap: Winner: P K (Bhumi) Mohanty (38 points), Runner-up: Jayant Biswas (35 points).
